Hello, I am currently based in New York. I have started to experience dandruff all of a sudden as it started to get colder. The flakes are getting bigger and i thought in order to treat the dry scalp better i would shave my head. But i am still experiencing flakes on my head.

Dandruff or flakes on the scalp can be due to a multitude of reasons ranging from general dryness to fungal infections.
Check your scalp for any boils and redness as consistent dandruff can lead to infection as well.
Your condition is treatable but requires examination and background history first.
