Good morning.
I've had an open heart surgery bypass in 2014, and maintaining an active life as per the prescribed routine. My BP hovers from 150 - 165. My last check up has been in Feb 2018, found satisfactory. Extraction requires stoppage of thinners. Can I stop this for a couple of days.

The latest guidelines suggest you get an INR test done. If that is within the acceptable range, you need not stop the medications. Consultation with your cardiologist is important.
Yes extraction requires stoppage of thinners but it also depends on the case. If the tooth is mobile and the extraction is going to be non traumatic, single tooth you may not stop your medication depending on the dosage.
Next Steps
You should consult your cardiologist or physician before you take a call on this.
