Extreme tiredness
My baby girl one year old. Yesterday vaccination was given for her. She was normal. She had no fever. But today morning, she got up late. We bathed her and gave cerelac. She took only two spoons and after that she became extremely tired and slept for 1 and half hours. She got seizures 6 times so doctor prescribed  valparin syrup. We could not give her the syrup today on time. May be this could be mild seizure? Or tiredness? Her body is little warm. What is the normal temperature for baby? We are much confused. Pls guide

At one year of age hepatitis A and JE is given. JE may produce fever post vaccination. If baby is known case of seizure , then be more vigilant and give paracetamol syrup round the clock.
Next Steps
consultant your paediatrician.

First thing is valparin syp is anti convulsion medicine, so it must be given on same time every day by any how. So if you have not given, please first give that medicine. As missed or delay in dose my cause seizures. Measure temperature and chart it on paper. If it is more than 100.4F then give fever medicine. If your child having febrile seizure then consult pediatrician.
Next Steps
Give valparin syp. as soon as possible if not given on time temperature charting give liquids more if your child more than 6 months and also mother's milk if you are giving.
Health Tips
never miss or delayed anti-convulsion medicine.
