My dear friend .....
As you are suffering from this problem of itchy eye since last 3 yrs and as u must have consulted lots of eye doctors during this period. ..and as you have realised you are not very satisfied ......so you must have already realised that it is not a simple problem you are dealing with.
Now after using lots of eye drops ..you yourself as a patient know this fact very clearly that the effect of the medication is temporary.
Are we good, till this point,i am sure you agree with me.
As you said it has started 3 Years ago....but if were to review your history you will realise that it started long ago but have aggravated or came to your notice or has become problematic since 3 yrs.
Please pardon me if I am wrong.
A y ways after using so many medications as you know it is of not much benefit.and I am very sure after visiting all the numerous many ophthalmologist and after using numerous eye drops probably almost everything available on the face if earth.still u r not very satisfied......because of the simple reason that only eye drops will not do much good to you ..It requires something else ...may be change In your lifestyle or daily routine.your experience of the same will tell u the truth, which might compel you to follow what I am trying to say.
So it is not only eye drops prescription that is going to help you but it is over all change in your life style along with medication that is what will help you to live a comfortable life and mind it I said comfortable and disease under control and not disease free.
It looks like a severe form of progressive allergic eye disorder.

Hello. I think you have allergic conjunctivitis.
1. Eye allergies, called allergic conjunctivitis, are a common condition that occurs when the eyes react to something that irritates them (called an allergen).
2. The eyes produce a substance called histamine to fight off the allergen. As a result, the eyelids and conjunctiva (the thin, filmy membrane that covers the inside of your eyelids) become red, swollen and itchy, with tearing and burning.
The key to treating eye allergies is
a. Avoid or limit contact with the substance causing the problem.
B. Avoid rubbing eyes instead do cold compresses.
C. Use antiallergic eyedrop like olopat eyedrop twice daily
d. Lubricating eyedrop like flogel thrice daily
e. Use mild steroid like flurisone in pulse dose in severe allergy
this will help you I am very sorry dear to say that there is no medicine that can cure allergy. Only way is to stay away from all those things that you are allergic to.
This is a provisional diagnosis. consult your ophthalmologist for detailed examination
Itching is due to allergic problem & has no permanent CURE & you will have to use antiallergic eye drops which has no side effects, you may use Pataday eye drops twice & genteel eye drops 4-5 times regularly, with regards
