Eye power reduction
I am having diabetes for more than 10 years and my sugar level is around 200 after food. I am having eye power of -6.5 and -6. Can i reduce my eye power by LASIK surgery. Is it advisable.?

No , Lasik is contraindicated in diabetes patients but you are already 44 yrs old ,after few yrs when you will go for  cataract surgery , your power of glass after phaco-emulsification with lens implantation  will be negligible.

it will  not be much useful. bcz you will have to use glasses for near,asthe results of combined surgery ie also for presbyopia are not acceptable to many people.so I shall  advice  not to go for it.
