An eye pressure of 22, is considered the higher side of normal. Just like the average height of an adult male is 5 and a half feet, of someone is 6 feet tall, he is not abnormal. If the nerve of the eye is healthy ( can be confirmed by an eye examination) and if the drainage pathway for the eye fluid is open, this pressure can be ignored and you can recheck once in 6 months or so. Hello. IOP is just one of the factor and is not synonymous with glaucoma. Kindly share your case file and test reports

Just pressure is not enough to diagnose glaucoma. You need to undergo thorough check up like field test (perimetry) and OCT. especially if there’s a family history of glaucoma.
