Teeka may have small particles that may cause sensation as well as superficial erosion on the eye surface tissues on rubbing.
There is some lipid like material as well that can also irritate the eyes.
You have done well by washing the eyes in running water. Use lubricant eye drops that are available OTC 6 to 8 times a day and reach out to a specialist in due course to rule out any particles clinging to the eye surface tissues.
