Feeling bad smell in my mouth
Before two months I had undergone surgical extraction of my wisdom teeth. From that time sometimes I'm feeling some bad odour in my mouth. If I breathe on my palm and checks I can't see any bad smell.do I have to go to dentist for this? Any mouth freshener is useful?

Hi, You probably have a condition called as dry socket. This is a complication of surgical extraction due to breakdown or displacement of the blood clot. To get it treated you will have to visit your dentist. The dentist will clean the tooth socket of any food debris and fill it with a piece of medicated gauze or paste. You will probably have to go back a few times to get the dressing changed before the socket heals completely. In the meantime the dentist may prescribe antibiotics and mouthwash/salt water rinses. Hope that helps.
