With all adequate precautions and medications the flap heals very well. Any kind of eye trauma can always be an issue otherwise it seals itself well. Usually we don't consider lasik below 500 microns.. But again all subject to refractive power.

No.. It usually heals. However sports activities that carries a risk of trauma to the eye should be avoided. LASIK is usually avoided in people with corneal thickness less than 450-500um.
