If ur orthopaedician allowed you wt. Bearing ie ur bone is in healing. Keep on doing exercises and walking as advised. Take proper protein and calcium rich diet. N if needed vit D Supplementation too.

Depends on various factors which can be fracture related and patient related
Fracture related- type of fracture,stability, site of fracture, communition
Patient related - quality of bone, weight of patient, smoker, drinker, medications etc
