Fever after lap chole
Sir my mother aged 65 years had elective lap chole done on 27.7.2020... but after 7th post op day she developed about 102 degree fever... She was put on cefuroxime for 10 days, then Amikacin injection for 5 days and simultaneously linezoline 600 mg was given for 7 days fever subsided...but again after discontinuing linezoline fever again developed...fluctuating between 99 to 101 degree...now she was given Azithromycin 500 mg BD along with Artemether and lumefantrine... It's been 3 days she is having Azithromycin...and course of Artemether completed...this evening fever gradually subsided it's about 97.5 now and blood pressure is 100/60 ... Pulse rate about 88 BPM... Is it normal... It's been 3 days she is having antibiotic Azithromycin...as the fever subsided today evening.now should we continue with antibiotic Pls advise
