Fever, cold & cough
Hi, I am a breastfeeding mom of a 3 month old baby girl. I have recently developed cold, cough & mild fever (99.9). Please suggest what all medicines can I opt for. I have been advised to take Allegra 180mg once a day. Please suggest any add ons for faster recovery. Will it harm my baby if I breastfeed her during fever? What all precautions can I take to save her from catching the infection though she already has cold and is taking the medicine as advised by her doctor. TIA

In my opinion you shouldn't take any combination drugs as you are breast feeding too . You can take tab paracetamol 500 mg thrice a day after meals and tablet cetrizine 10 mg twice daily.
