Fever from 2 days
Hi as my baby has fever from 2 days and we consulted doctor n we are continusally giving t98 and mental.as the fever will be too high as 102 to 103 degree n when we give metal after sometime fever reduces n again after 6 to 8 hours fever comes.so for how many days it's good to give that medicines

Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely.
If not accompanied by any other symptom like vomiting or loose motions or breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
If not improving OR accompanied by above, consult your paediatrician for physical examination and treatment.
