Fever in mumps
My age is 34, male. I got mumps infection. It started with gum pain on the first day, swelling and low fever on the second day and high fever, body ache, tiredness from the third day. On the seventh day, the swelling is almost gone (a very little left on the side of the gum), tiredness and body ache gone,  but I m still experiencing high fever. Can someone please suggest how long will it take to get rid of high fever in mumps infection. By the way I am taking pcm three times a day, still fever is there.

Well, usually mumps doesnt present with gum swelling. Usial presentation is with parotid gland swelling. Also it is highly uncommon in adulthood. And when it occurs in adulthood, it can be accompanied with testicular swelling as well.
Next Steps
Consult an ENT specialist or a general physician in a hospital. even after swelling has subsided, if u continue to have fever then u may need to undergo blood tests
