Fever query
Hi doctor.
I want to know how many times can i take paracetamol 650mg in case i have a fever of 101.
And i also have gastric problem in case i take paracetamol. So what to do. Please tell me as i have fever now.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
According to your age, you can take tab. Paracetamol 650 thrice or even a max. Of 4 times a day.
For fever of 101, 3 times Should suffice.
Drink plenty of fluids.
Fever treatment requires the treatment of the cause so along with paracetamol other medicines may also be necessary.
In case of gastric issues, you can take a tab. Rantac-D once or twice a day half an hour before food.
Revert to me in Private if the fever doesn't subside.
