Fever range 99 to 102
My son  hospitalized on 10th april bcz of burn , after 1st dressing he got adeno positive , after 2days fever completely gone , but from last Sunday he got fever again , blood report shows CRP 2.35 and urine test normal , malaria negative  , but fever comes with chill and suddenly temp increase from 98 to 101 or 102 ,. The doctor says maybe the iv channel in hand is causing the fever , I don't know what to do..Son  do not want to stay in hospital anymore , crying every time..

How old is your son? Your son will need blood culture and culture from IV cath for knowing the exact bacteria causing the fever and what antibiotics will help . For further help contact me online

How severe is the burn?If extensive may be secondary infection because of which fever may be happening. Second cause may be due to IV drip which has to be discontinued if it is because of it.
