  4. Fever with cold and bad throat. To go?

Fever with cold and bad throat
Hi my son have fever around 99 to 101 . 4 degree from 2 days due to cold and bad throat . He is active and eating but fever us there . First day it was 99 . 4 now second day its going till 101.4 degree . Child specialist at local hospital gave meftal p , maxtra and cloff antibiotic is it good to go ? Wat extra needs to done

I would suggest stopping all medicines,just give steam inhalations 4-5 times a day,decongestant nasal drops for nasal block,and paracetamol for fever,repeat 4 hourly if required,will settle down in 3-5 days. Meftal is for fever above 103.
