Finger pierced slightly by Pin
Hello sir My finger is pierced slightly by a pin affixed with a table.little bit of blood is there. But I haven't got anti-tetanus as markets are closed. Chances of catching tetanus is there?? I am very much worried.. As high mortality is there in tetanus. Please help me

If you tetanus in last 1 year, then you are automatically protected. To be on the safer side get yourself tetanus shot tomorrow. Dr vijay Ramnani MCSP(London), Dip Neuro (England )

Hello there, Dont worry and panic so much....you can have your tetanus shot tomorow also if it is not available now....also if you want to take it urgently...you can go into any government run health center or civil hospital...i am sure medinapore to have one open at odd hours...also they will do your dressing for pin prick.
Next Steps
please note--any dog bite or any rusted article doesnt always cause Rabies or tetanus ,,,but to be on the safe side people take preventive shot of it. Regards
