Floaters on eyes
I am suffering from floaters for 1yr. I went to doctor and he after examining my eyes said that my fundus are fine. But thereafter still now the numbers of floaters increases. Previously there are 5-6floaters. Now i found  more than 20floaters. My question is- 1. Is this increase of floaters is normal? 2. Will the floaters cure on their own? 3. Will i go blind if this increase continues to.     20 to 50... 3. Will i use NEVANAC eye drop? Please suggest i am very nervous. Thanks.

There is no question of going blind . Ignore the floaters. Have a routine check up of your retina once a year. Rush for an emergency check up if the floaters suddenly increase from 20 to 1000 and then 5000 every 15 minutes or you get sudden fall in vision or field of vision or you get persistent flashes of light . Till then, relax and lead a normal life. Maskatieyeclinic Opposite Charni road station east, Mumbai

Floaters are usually nonpathological. Since your retina is ok then you need not to worry about it. Just learn to omit them. Take some antioxidants. Consume lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Don't worry you won't go blind.
