Fluctuating body temperatures
My wife has pneumonia and it is in earlier stages, like day 2 of being sick, and her temperature has been alternating between a high of 101.6 and a low of 99.9 within 10 minutes. Shes also dehydrated and is vomiting whenever any liquid or solid is swallowed; along with diarrhea. Is the fever something to be concerned about? And regarding her rejecting fluids, how can we hydrate her properly?

Hello. Kindly admit her in hospital for proper hydration through intravenous fluids. The symptoms you mentioned above cannot be treated effectively at home. Regards.
