Fluctuating Fever
Greetings Doctor My fever is fluctuating throughout the day, between 98.5°F - 99.5°F. It once reached 97.1°F and 100°F. It has not gone beyond 100°F. It is happening from past 1 week now. I feel headaches and tiredness. When it started, I also got swelling in my legs. I am really worried. Is this normal viral? Please guide me for the same. Thanks

Hi Sometimes body temperature can fluctuate even without having fever due to climate change and other factors When you get fever above 100 F you should take paracetamol 500/650 tab Also note other symptoms associated with the fever Headache and tiredness could be normal if it is relieved by rest Pay attention to your sleep, hydration and nutrition And also try to relax using relaxation techniques if at all you are dealing with any stress
