FOLIC ACID DILEMMA
My wife is 2nd trimester. She taking Livogen XT at morning and Folsafe & calonat D3 at night. Since Livogen has Folic acid. Is it necessary to take Folsafe also on top of this. Pls suggest.

She can take Dose in iron tablet is less No harm in continuing folic acid..

You can stop folsafe not necessary, if you continue it  won't harm

Hello It's not harmful to continue folsafe. If u have any medication leftover of folsafe, than finish it and if u don't wish to continue folsafe than u can stop it!

Hi there, It's not absolutely necessary but sometimes we prescribe to take extra on some high risk pregnancy where it is necessary.
