Severe Head ache, throat infection, body pains and chills since 4days. Under medication but no prognosis.as per reports typhoid is positive.clinically doctor says its follicular tonsillitis not typhoid

Hello....... Tonsillitis is common, especially in children.Bacterial and viral infections can cause tonsillitis. A common cause is Streptococcus (strep) bacteria.Treatment for tonsillitis will depend in part on the cause. To determine the cause, your doctor may perform a rapid strep test or throat swab culture. .
