Hello, I went through your query. Folvite is safe to take during pregnancy when used as directed. Certain spinal cord birth defects(in fetus) may be prevented by taking adequate amounts of folic acid during pregnancy(preferably preconceptional or early weeks of pregnancy). And all the pregnant ladies are prescribed with folic acid during early days of pregnancy. Please consult your doctor for prescription.
