Food chart
Myself jeevitha from chennai. Due to lockdown I am unable to meet my pediatrician. I am having 7 month old baby. I need to start him solid food. I am not aware of what to feed him. I am also scared to give food without consulting doctor. Because during lockdown I can't take risk in child health. Can you please give some food chart or give some food ideas what to feed my baby

Start with rice kanji , or if you are not happy with making that easier will be boiled and smashed vegetables like carrots, potatoes, beet root, apples and bananas. One food at a time not to try two three in the same day ,try one vege for three consecutive days if no loose stools vomiting continue that next after 3 days try the next food.

Start with boiled water. Few spoonfuls in a day. Graduate to rice kanji/ dal water. Then move on to soups, juices Start with liquids and gradually move to semisolids. Initially, feed only once a day, ideally during daytime. When you introduce a particular food, give it for atleast 4-7 days. This way baby gets used to the taste texture and you would know about its suitability. After 2-3 weeks you can introduced mashed curd rice, dal rice
