Consult a doctor for pain.
For memory.. read as much as you can .. don't try to forceful remember. Read again n again repetitively for memorizing something. Try chunking informations into small parts . You can also try using mnemonics . Eat healthy. Avoid junk food and especially alcohol and drugs. Have proper sleep .
