Hi Your concerns regarding your thoughts being negative and illogical may be due to various factors. Prefrontal cortex is a small part of the brain involved in emotional regulation. There are various other areas of the brain which regulate thoughts. Thoughts are generated collectively by the brain. But as your are concerned that you have a problem in the prefrontal cortex, you can try solving puzzles such as SUDOKU, CROSS WORDS which are great trainers for the brain. Regular physical exercise is also important.
