Fracture shaft of humerus
A 62 yr old female, fall on hand, suffered from fracture shaft of humerus, can she undergo operation????? keeping in mind she is T1N0M0 breast cancer treated by MRM 3 yrs back....

Transverse fracture  ,looks like a pathological fracture. It needs full  body scan to rule out secondries. Already patient of CA breast . If pathological fracture is ruled out then can be better managed conservatively in extension cast. Better to fix with intramedullary implant with extension into whole humerus.

Can be managed in a hanging cast. No need of surgery.
