Frequent nose block
I get running nose most often and doctor said that it is due to allergy, i take a cetrizine and immediately it stops. But the after effect is the that i get URTI ( upper respiratory tract infection ) and i get nose blocks. after 2 days mucous gets formed and then cough and chest gets infected. how do i get rid of this? do we have any medicine for increase immunity and avoid getting allergic in allopathy ? if no can i go for Ayurveda ?

Yes definitely Ayurveda has medicines which increases immunity. For time being use Anu thaila 2 drops for each nostril if you are not having running nose @ present. Avoid excess use of milk, milk products, juice, water & other liquid diets.

Avoid common irritants such as smoke and sudden temperature changes. Drink plenty of water. Use a humidifier. Try nasal saline sprays or rinses. If the runny nose is a persistent, watery discharge, particularly if accompanied by sneezing and itchy or watery eyes, your symptoms may be allergy-related and an over-the-counter antihistamine may help...consult nearest physician or ent surgeon they will do the needful.
