Fungal infection
My son is four year old, weighs 15 kg.. he has light red asymmetrical patches on his bums. It goes away after applying candid powder but comes back. I fear, that's fungal infection.. please suggest medicines.

Fungus or yeast infection....common around skin folds like thighs and genitals.. avoid sweating, sharing clothes,towels and soap.. specific medicine required depends on the severity.. for detailed prescription do direct online consultation by sending photos.

Yes this could be fungal infection. Can be atopic eczema as this site is common. Powder is not the treatment for anything. Please send photos using online consult option for proper examination diagnosis and treatment
