Gall bladder
Gallstones
My husband has been diagnosed with gallstones in Jan-15. We are almost on the verge of getting his gall bladder removed. There are multiple stones (roughly 25-30 or more) of 5-6 mm and he is facing problems with motions, gastric trouble, abdominal pain. The pain recurs roughly every 2-3 months. Is there any way where we can treat this without removing gall bladder

Hello there...., Main treatment option for gall bladder stone removal is cholecystectomy..That is surgical removal of gall bladder.... Medications taken by orally may help dissolve gallstones. But it may take months or years of treatment to dissolve your gallstones in this way. Sometimes medications don't work. Medications for gallstones aren't commonly used and are reserved for people who can't undergo surgery....
