I have gallstones and my surgery to get my gallbladder removed is June 26th. But I've been having severe gallbladder pain since 2 a.m. And it will not let up. My main concern is that I can't even keep down water and I don't want to become dehydrated. What should I do?

Hello there...... There is no permanent medical cure for gallstones. Although there are medical measures that can be taken to remove stones or relive symptoms, they are only temporary. If a patient has symptoms from gallstones, surgical removal of the gallbladder is the best treatment. Asymptomatic (producing no symptoms) gallstones do not require treatment.... Consult surgeon.....
