Gap for 2nd baby after 1st C section
Hello All , As per recommendations, the gap between two c section pregnancies should be a minimum of 18 months. My question is , this gap is between two C sections or between 1st C-section and 2nd conception date? My wife's 1st C-section happened on 30th April 2023, and her estimated due date of 2nd Baby is 29th oct 2024. Is it safe to proceed? She's missed her period yesterday and tested positive thrice on urine kit.

To allow the uterus to have a decent healing after a Caesarean the gap between the first Caesarean and the second conception should be at least 2 years. Then the woman may get a chance to try a Vaginal delivery after a Caesarean. Otherwise the second baby will be 100 % Caesarean.
