Hello, With the information you’ve given, looks like you have a cavity in your tooth. As you have not posted any pictures or XRay of your tooth, I can just say that if the cavity is not too deep, it can be filled else Root canal needs to be done. I understand, you are worried about the recent scenario, so I will advise you if the pain is not there, you can wait for a few days & take care of your oral hygiene. Don’t let the condition deteriorate.
Next Steps
In such cases, we usually ask the patient to visit dentist asap, so condition doesn’t deteriorate but due to covid condition, you can wait till things get better & maintain proper oral hygiene.
Health Tips
Maintain hygiene, brush twice daily & don’t let the food get stuck in your cavity.

Hello, What you are experiencing is tooth decay(cavity).. Because of which a small part of teeth must have broken down creating the gap that you have mentioned. Unfortunately there is not much you can do at home to reduce the damage that has happened so far.
Next Steps
Please maintain proper oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice a day followed by mouthwash use so that further damage can be controlled. If possible visit your dentist sooner. The dentist will take an X-ray and determine the amount of tooth decay. Based on it either filling or RCT will be performed. Take care.
