Gastric trouble
Hi,
My daughter is 4 years old. She gets gastric trouble once in two weeks . Some food is still making her gasy. But for past few days, while sleeping at night , may be around 2 am, she coughs due to acid reflux and releases gas via mouth and this making her vomitting sensation. She vomits little or more. And then sleeps well.
I gave her junior.lanzol for two days and stopped. But again after two days after stopping, she has got the trouble yesterday.
This vomitting at night was not there before.
Can you suggest me how can I make her easy ?

Dear Parent, if she is having recurrent vomiting sensation while trying to sleep or having upper abdominal discomfort, likely that she has acid reflux. This would not settle with 2 days of lanzoprazol. It needs continuous antireflux medication with diet modifications. Kindly discuss in detail with a pediatrician.
