Gastro problem in bipolar depression
I am 35 year old man with 81 kg of weight.i have had my first manic episode in 2001.taken some psy care and got stable.again in 2007 i was in manic phase but untreated and got stable.but in 2011 i have had a serious manic episode and i was diagnosed with schizoeffective disoder but some other psychiatrist tells it bipolar disoder.i remained on lithium and amisulpride. after two years in 2014 lithium changed magnesium valproate400 mg BD and amisulpride 50 mg as usual.but i have gastro problem

Please describe your gastro problem .. is constipation, diarrhoea, burning sensation? Also are you gaining weight on this combination ?

Try taking full dose of valproate in the evening after dinner.
