Hello Doctor, I am a 23 years old male and have been suffering from GAD since teenage,i went to a doctor and he advised me to take medicines like inderal 10mg,praz 0.25mg, doses which he increased after a month and also included citanew 5mg and UFRIM 10mg in the prescription,the symptoms of GAD did came to a halt but with the increasing medications i faced addition problem of constipation which doctor advised to deal with by taking laxatives along with other GAD medicines but it didn't work ,as

Tab ufrim and citanew have the same salt escitalopram. Maybe you can discuss reducing the dose to 10 mg a day and watch. Also maybe you could start Relaxation exercises and CBT for GAD in addition.
