I had my first seizure 6 years ago then my doctor recommended me dicorate er 500 mg for 3 years. After that i stopped medicine and then after 6 months i got second seizure.I experienced this seizure after some sleepless nights due to wedding preparations. Now from last 2.4 yrs i am taking that medicine dicorate er 500mg again under the guidance dr. Rajiv Anand. He is a neurologist. Now i have not experienced any seizure again . Now i am married and want to plan a baby. Can i continue with the medicine or do i have to discontinue this medicine.

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
Yes you can go ahead and plan a baby while taking medicines it's not a problem.
If you were a female, then I wouldn't advise you to take it as it's contraindicated in pregnancy.
So it's not a problem.
Consult your neurologist also if you have any doubt.
