How to cure GERD permanently with medication am getting temporary relief, again it is starting , is it possible to cure permanently. Fedup with persistent symptoms. Kindly Help.

Sometimes GERD cannot be completely treated only with medications. If you have done lifestyle changes, changed your diet and are already on medications, then I think you should consider surgical option. This is laparoscopic surgery so very minimal pain, minimal cuts on your body and faster recovery. It is a physiological surgery. Also since you are very young, its better that you think about surgery as the medicines you will have to take for a longer period of time and there is a chance that in longer run patients may develop Barrett's esophagus which is a serious complication.
