Got swell at the ankle after fall
While walking, slipped suddenly and now my ankle got twisted and swollen. Please help what needs to be done

Kindly go to a near by hospital emergency room. There may be boney injury. You should be treated accordingly.

If you can’t walk and pain over any bony parts need x ray. Consult orthopaedic doctor in person near by - he will let you know - need for X-rays. If it is only ligament injury and inversion or eversion of ankle. Elevation ice- it will take up to six weeks to heal.

Get X-rays first to look for any fracture. If nothing probably might require casting

Get your ankle X-ray first. If there is no fracture,You may need to brace it. You also need some analgesics to relieve pain . Meet your doctor first.

If you are able to walk with pain It could be an ankle sprain Rest elevation and cold packs will help
