Grade 111 horizontal tear in the posterior horn of medial meniscus Mild joint effusion Bony confusional edema in medial tibial condyle This is my MRI report impression. I had severe pain in the knee after my left leg shoo hit on a stone. I can't climb steps due to pain. What is the treatment for this. Almost 60 days over after this insident.MRI has taken 3 days back since the edima has not fully cleared and pain is continued after 14 days heat therapy.

Grade 3 tear of the Posterior Horn will need an Arthroscopy and repair of the Meniscus. Physical therapy is very unlikely to solve the problem as the meniscus will not heal naturally
Next Steps
I would advice you to contact an Arthroscopic surgeon. This is a simple procedure which is a day procedure and one of the commonest procedures that we do in our practice
