Grey & black patches-Hand
Dear Doctor! My mother is having greyish and slight blackish patches on her forearm and upper side of hand. It has been six months but they don't seem to lessen. She has recommended Photostable sunscreen gel. Image is also attached. Please suggest.

Stucco keratosis or Seborrheic keratosis is what it appears to be from the faint photograph that you have provided. It is usually a sign of ageing of the skin and need not be treated unless cosmetic outcome is the concern. There are multiple options to treat it can should be discussed in person.
