Hi.. groin injury.. if you are talking about inner thigh, you might have to start gentle stretching of adductor muscles. But if it's in the middle, pain could be arising because of pubic symphysis dysfunction. 3 months is good enough time for rest, you should go for further evaluation.
Next Steps
proper evaluation to identify the source of pain
Health Tips
avoid activities causing pain return to sports after complete recovery

Rest is not enough. You should have done simultaneously some strengthening exercises prescribed by physiotherapist. So meet a physio he will guide you. Rest is mandatory but proper exercises is also mandatory.

Rest was good choice but sudden start with a high intensity routine was not good . But any way it was happened . Now again you need some rest but you need the most, is to start with ... $ Progressive loading to body. Start with very low intensity loading to cause movement .
Next Steps
take your own time to heal , it's good for you to avoid any pain by sudden high intensity repetitive movement .
Health Tips
please insure The range of movement , strength and agility of other body part as much you can without putting strain on groin adductor.
