Gut Health
I have been battling poor overall health for a long time. I have always had stomach issues. Every time I start workout I get bone or muscle injuries especially back and shoulder issues. And all this despite the fact that I am a very clean eater. I don't eat junk food except one or two meals a week. I don't eat any processed food. My sugar intake is 2 teaspoons a day (for 2 cups of tea). I don't smoke. I drink twice a month maybe. I am a reasonably active person. I have also struggled with stress and depression and that has contributed to hormonal issues (pcod). All this has led me to believe that I probably have poor gut health, may be leaky gut. Is that possible? My research has shown that L glutamine and collagen peptide supplements drastically improve gut health. Can I go ahead and take these supplements? If yes what would be some good brands.
