Gyncology doubt
Hello Doctor! I have a small question regarding conceiving.,.we are trying from past two months but not conceiving.its been four years and fifth year running.my periods are regular For every 28 to 30 days I get my periods...one year back I had a pregnancy failure because of Blighted ovum and had D and C after that got tested.. scans and all everything fine...but my thyroid profile is high...it was 15 and reduced to 12 after using 50 mg so now using 75..Do I need to consult..or the thyroid is the only reason for not conceiving...Do I need to focus on my ovulations check ups and all please suggest any remedies...Does thyroid effects ovulation and fertility...please help me with this doubt.. Thank you

Thyroid may be one of the reasons.Hypothyroidism can interfere with ovulation which impairs fertility. But it is not the only factor

Once your thyroid level is under control there won't be any problem in pregnancy.. thyroid medication can be continued during pregnancy also.. still if you don't conceive you have to meet gynaecologist for further investigation to know about your ovulation cycle and follicle size.
