Gynecological / Pregnancy problem
I am advised NIPT and I have given the sample for NIPT test..But now I want to understand if 1:1442 is what kind of risk for T.21 This is my first pregnancy .I have stepped into 18th week of pregnancy.I have naturally conceived and I am 34 years 7 months in age as of today . Please suggest if the double marker test was of any concern. If my NIPT turns out low risk should I also do quadruple marker ?

Hello mam.it 1:1442 it means that you have the same chance of delivering a Down’s syndrome baby as any other mother in their 20’s. Your incidence is low than the average for your age.so don’t worry regarding that
