Gynocomastia
Having gynocomastia since puberty on one side . Now 33 years old. Want to have operated. Please suggest what will be cost around for such surgery.

Has the gynaecomastia been evaluated?
There are several causes .
For example hormonal fluctualtions , Alterations in liver function, many drugs can also cause it (but usually these cases have gynaecomastia on both sides)
Your's looks like pubertal gyenecomastia since it is unilateral (on one side only) and has been there from puberty.
If it is increasing in size or not regressing
, surgery can be done .
Rate depends on the type of procedure you chose.
Minimally invasive procedures like liposuction will cost more which will be done by cosmetic surgeons. May cost around 1 lakh
Usual surgery is also done using a minimal small incision around the nipple so that the scar is not visible. This will cost around 20 to 40 thousand depending on the hospital and city

It needs to be evaluated first.
Various investigations to confirm the diagnosis of gynaecomastia (if not done previously), and base line investigations (needed before any surgical procedure).
Once fittness for surgery recieved, surgery for gynaecomastia can be done @ ~20 to 25k.

Hello,
Gyencomastia is a fairly simple procedure and could be operated for better cosmetic appearance, but one needs to identify the cause before planning a surgery. Since it’s done under general Anesthesia would need a surgical profile done before surgery (pre operation investigations).
A rough estimate would be around ₹40,000 , but you might be eligible for insurance.
