Hair fall since past 7 months

Asked for Female, 22 Years

I have been observing severe hairfall for 7 months now. I have had experienced such hairfall earlier also but then it used to get corrected in 2 3 months. I got my vitamin d3, ferritin and vitamin b12 test. I have my d3 13.4 and ferritin 12. I have started taking supplements, and taking alot of precautions also still my hairfall has not reduced. Please help me out to get results.

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
