  4. Hair roots pain. Or any other problem?

Hair roots pain
My sister is having hair root pain not continuously it lasts for few hours.this started couple of months ago.1.is it due to any infection caused by touching infected pet( our dog and cat had some kind of infection in which they both are loosing hair and undergoing treatment)or any other problem?
