Hairfall after shampoo
I have too much hairfall after I comb my dried hair after shampooing about 400-500 strands. The hairs break due to entanglement. On other days too on combing I have hairfall but limited to max 50 strands. I have 3-4litres of water n exercise regularly for 1hour daily. I too do not have much oily food.

Hairfall is not due to one single cause. There are many conditions which can cause extreme hair loss and thinning of hair on the scalp. So first and foremost we have to find the cause of hair fall with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes maybe nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia also called pattern baldness, hypothyroidism, telogeun effluvium etc. Unless we find and c,read the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Also one should refrain from home remedies as it does not give any relief from hairfall. Oil and shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Please contact me using online consultation for proper examination diagnosis and treatment

How much hair loss can you expect on the day you wash ?This is very good query which many people get confused about.Well, the average daily normal hair fall varies between 100-150 . Average means when you count number of hair shedding daily over 3-4 days (depends on how often you wash your hair with shampoo). On the day you wash your hair properly with shampoo , hair shedding can go upto 200-300 per day (depending on many factors like season, hair length and thickness, etc). This excess hair shedding on the day you wash can happen during shampooing or drying or combing.Next 2 or 3 days when you don't wash ,the hair shedding will be less in the range of 50-100 .Hence, the average of 3-4 days should be around 100-150. Anything more than this or visible loss of volume of hair or visible baldness needs to be treated.
Next Steps
Another point you mentioned is you see hair breakage due to entanglement. This can increase the number of hair you lose in a day. For proper combing and drying refer to my article "Routine Hair Care Is Not Rocket Science" (search my name and this article on google). While combing you need to
Health Tips
Use clean ,wide-mouthed,soft bristle comb and start combing from hair ends to release the knots and never start combing from scalp down.Never comb wet hair as wet hair tends to break easily .Hope you can use these tips to control your hair fall and still if you have excessive hair shedding you need to do some blood tests to find the exact reason and treat accordingly. All the best.
